The cottage had so much character and charm, it made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The location was perfect, with tons of scenic countryside to explore. We even had a blast visiting the South Lakes Safari Zoo and taking a ride on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. It was so cool to see all the wild animals up close and ride a real-life old-fashioned train. We had the adventure of a lifetime!
The only thing we wished for was more party activities for us young folks. A game room with a pool table or karaoke machine would have made the stay even more fun and exciting.

Our stay at this incredible cottage was absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how well-kept and beautifully set-up it was. The kitchen was fully stocked with jaw-droppingly extensive utensils, making cooking a breeze. The cozy bed provided us with the most comfortable sleep we've ever experienced, and the shower had superb water pressure. We were even treated to a super log fire, which added a special touch to our evenings. Located in the most stunning countryside, we were perfectly situated for our planned activities, and enjoyed both challenging hikes and serene countryside walks. The caretaker could not have been more helpful, ensuring our every need was met. The owners' attention to detail and warm welcome made us feel right at home. We are already dreaming of our next visit to this truly extraordinary cottage.

Set in scenic countryside, this cozy cottage had lots of character and provided a comfortable stay during our Easter getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. The location was perfect, with key activities such as hikes to Old Man of Coniston and Harrison Stickle just a short drive away. We also enjoyed peaceful walks around the nearby farms, offering picturesque views. The caretaker was very helpful, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
While the cottage had a rustic charm, it did have a few drawbacks. We did notice a fair amount of cobwebs on the walls and ceilings, which could have been cleaner.

The place was super organized and had all the kitchen stuff we needed. The beds were comfy, and there were no issues with hot water or heating. We loved chilling by the log fire. The cottage was in a perfect spot for our adventures - we hiked up the Old Man of Coniston and Harrison Stickle. Plus, we had mellow strolls near the farms. The owners were so cool too. We're definitely coming back!
The only thing was the lack of a bathtub or footstool, which would have made the stay even more comfy. But hey, we didn't really need that for our wild teenage fun!

The cottage had a cool, rustic vibe that we loved. Plus, it was located in the scenic countryside, so it felt like a real retreat from the city. The caretaker was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We also had a blast visiting the South Lakes Safari Zoo and riding on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. These activities were totally worth it and added extra excitement to our vacation.
The only thing we wished for was a rocking party room with a killer sound system. We're a group of party-loving teens, and having a dedicated space to dance and play loud music would have taken our stay to the next level.
